Hello,

I spent a few days in Val d'Aran, and was pleasantly surprised to see the efforts to preserve the Aranese language. In Vielha i bought the big red-yellow Catalan-Occitan/Occitan-Catalan dictionary, which is very good and also Aitor Carrera's grammar. I study Catalan in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I didn't study Occitan formally, but knowing some Catalan, i can read Occitan with some help from the grammar and the dictionary. Unfortunately, i can't write it so well.
